Construction on the Front Parking Lot

Our long-awaited green infrastructure front parking lot renovation has begun! The southern half (nearest Euclid Avenue) will be closed first while permeable pavers are installed in the parking row located closest to the Euclid Avenue shrubs. The remainder of the southern half of the parking lot will be re-asphalted as part of Phase One. The north section will be available for parking during this phase. Once the southern half is complete, that portion of the parking lot will re-open and work will commence on the western portion of the north half of our lot. Pavers will be installed from the belltower entry to the sanctuary sidewalk. Sidewalk access both to the belltower entry and the sanctuary will remain open during both phases of the project.

As this work will significantly reduce the number of available spaces in our front lot from approximately June 8-August 8, those of us who are able-bodied are urged to park in Lot 54 on Ford Road for Sunday services. A custodian or volunteer will staff the Lot 54 gate to assist newcomers until 10:15 a.m. for the first couple of Sundays. You are also welcome to park behind the church, accessed from the driveway immediately north of the Ford Road (Lot 54) parking lot.
